At this point I think it’s safe to safe to say that just like podcasts, there are likely 10 blogs for every person on the planet. Well, “ yes, and?” We can either lament the fact that millions of other people have beat us to the punch or just decide that there are many blogs like it, but this one is mine.
So here we go. I’ll post some photos now and again and talk a little bit about the experience of making them. If you like them, or don’t, leave a comment and let me know. Let’s talk about our love of photography.
Here are some shots from the past weekend, taken as part of “Dino Outbreak” at Siegel’s Cottonwood Farm in Crest Hill, Illinois. Just a peaceful afternoon amongst the barns, fields, and dinosauria. Though I can’t vouch for the accuracy of the animals depicted, it is rather cool to seem them in a non-skeletal, fully fleshed out form. It brings one closer to what it might have been like to run into one of these guys in the real world. A rather disconcerting thought, I must say.
All images taken with the Lumix S5 on the 50mm f/1.8 and the 70-300 f/4.5-5.6.
He can’t see me if I don’t move, right? Right?
